KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
HEALTH & SAFETY
The Korn Ferry Tour and the Club Car Championship at The Landings Club continue to work under the guidance of leading public health officials to provide a safe environment to host the 2021 event. We appreciate the ongoing support of our partners, volunteers, fans and The Landings Club team.
Player, Caddie, VIP, Media, and Staff parking is onsite at the Deer Creek Clubhouse. All players park in Lot 1 and all Caddies, VIP, Media, and Staff park in Lot 2.
Public Parking is available at the UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography – 10 Ocean Science Circle. Parking is $6. $5 is donated directly to Bethesda Academy. Complimentary shuttles run every 15 minutes and will drop you off at the Main Entrance. The final shuttle is 30 minutes following play. Shuttles will operate at 50% capacity and masks are required on shuttles.
CHECK THE WEATHER
Check the weather forecast before you visit the Club Car Championship at The Landings Club and dress appropriately. Expect cool mornings and sunny afternoons, so dressing in layers is the best idea.
MUST HAVE ITEMS
Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Hat, Comfortable Shoes and Binoculars.
The Club Car Championship at The Landings Club is implementing several environmentally friendly initiatives to help reach the tournament’s recycling and sustainability goals. The green initiatives supporting the Club Car Championship at The Landings Club’s efforts to be environmentally responsible and generate less waste include:
The Green Team
An all new volunteer committee, The Green Team is focused on ensuring our fans know how they can help us recycle. Fans will see improved signage and a greater effort, thanks to The Green Team around collection areas to ensure fans are utilizing the proper bins. Our focus will be on aluminum cans and all cans are donated to the Boy Scouts Troop 57 – Skidaway Island.
The Club Car Championship at The Landings Club has committed to removing plastic from our primary food and beverage venues during our tournament. Fans can expect to see a plastic-free space in The Landings Company Eagle’s Nest Private Skyboxes, Schooner Cove Suites presented by Publix, and in all on course concessions. In addition to removing plastic from our hospitality venues, our tournament has also eliminated the use of plastic inside the Clubhouse in Player/Family Dining.
Thanks to Coca-Cola Bottling Company United Savannah River Division – all Coca-Cola products offered on the course will be in aluminum cans.
HAVE A PLAN
There are essentially two ways to watch a golf tournament. “Parade Style” is where you pick a spot and watch the field pass by or “Cross-Country Style” is where you follow a particular player or group around the course.
Arrive early to reserve a spot, especially if you plan on watching the tournament “Parade Style.” On Thursday and Friday, groups are simultaneously started on the first and tenth holes. Most people watch the action on the back nine holes which may give you the opportunity to get a better view of the players on the front nine.
SPECTATOR GUIDE AND DAILY PAIRINGS SHEET
Pick up a Spectator Guide for a quick reference Course Map and grab a Pairings Sheet to find out when the players tee off and the order of the groups. Spectator Guides and Pairing Sheets are available at the Main Entrance and at select other locations on the Course. The pros typically play in threesomes on Thursday and Friday and twosomes on the weekends. Check the scoreboards to find out who the leaders are, and where they are on course.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, Korn Ferry Tour players are unable to sign autographs. We look forward to returning to our regular autograph policy in 2022
